At a glance

What matters before you continue.

01
Public pagesThe static contact form does not store a submission; it opens your email application. Hosting systems may still create limited security and access logs.
02
PayPalPayPal handles payment credentials. SecuredMe receives only the transaction, account, and status information needed to provide the requested payment or login function.
03
Education pre-alphaDo not submit real student records unless SecuredMe has explicitly activated an approved school workflow with the required consent and safeguards.

Information and purpose

We limit collection to a defined function.

Account and identity

When an approved identity provider is used, we may receive a display name, verified email address, provider name, and provider-specific subject identifier. For PayPal Login, the requested profile scopes are limited to full name and email, plus the technical OpenID identifier needed to bind the account.

Payments and support

We may retain transaction references, amount, currency, payment status, subscription state, and the minimum contact information needed for receipts, support, fraud prevention, accounting, and dispute handling. We do not collect or store your PayPal password or payment-card credentials.

Education activity

When an Education feature is explicitly enabled, we may process account role, authored material, consent records, safety reports, learning actions, and audit receipts needed to operate that feature. Sensitive student material is private by default and is not used for advertising.

Operations and security

Hosting, content delivery, and security systems may process IP address, browser information, request time, route, status, and bounded diagnostic events. Logs are used for reliability, abuse prevention, incident response, and legal obligations—not behavioural advertising.

Sharing and location

Service providers receive only what their function requires.

Information may be processed by payment, identity, hosting, infrastructure, email, and security providers acting for their stated functions. PayPal applies its own privacy terms when you use PayPal. Some providers may process information outside Quebec or Canada, where different laws may apply. SecuredMe does not sell personal information and does not authorize third parties to build advertising profiles from Education activity.

Retention and control

Keep it only while there is a reason.

We retain information only as long as needed for the service, security, dispute handling, accounting, legal requirements, or a documented Education safeguard. Deletion or access requests may be limited where records must be preserved by law, to protect a student, or to maintain the integrity of an audit trail. When a provider account can be unlinked, the unlink action does not erase records another law requires us to retain.

Children and students

Young people receive stronger defaults, not extra profiling.

SecuredMe Education is designed for privacy-protective settings, bounded access, and human authority. In Quebec, consent rules for a minor depend on age and context; where a young person cannot provide valid consent, a parent or holder of parental authority must act. A public pre-alpha demonstration is not authorization to enter real student data. School or youth deployments require a separate approved configuration, clear purpose, role-based access, and appropriate consent.

Your choices

Ask, correct, withdraw, or complain.

Subject to applicable law, you may ask what personal information we hold about you, request access or correction, withdraw consent where it is the legal basis, request deletion, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity without collecting more information than necessary.

Security and updates

Protection is continuous, not absolute.

We use technical and organizational controls appropriate to the service, including secret separation, bounded logs, access controls, and human release gates. No online service can promise zero risk. Material changes to this policy will be posted here with a new effective date and, when required, a direct notice or renewed consent.
