Pre-alpha terms.Clear scope. Safe use. Human authority.Montreal, Canada

Effective August 17, 2026

Terms for active public development.

These terms govern the use of SecuredMe public websites, services, payments, and the SecuredMe Education pre-alpha. By using an enabled feature, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

Pre-alphaNo hidden authorizationNo real student data by defaultWritten commercial scope

Service status

Public development is not a production guarantee.

Features may change, pause, or remain unavailable while they are tested. Public demonstrations, documentation, research outputs, and synthetic fixtures do not promise uninterrupted service, a particular result, or readiness for a school, clinical, financial, legal, or critical-infrastructure deployment.

Accounts

Use your own account and protect access.

Provide accurate information, use only identity providers and accounts you are authorized to use, and protect your session. Do not share credentials. Notify SecuredMe if you believe an account or transaction has been compromised. Provider terms also apply when you choose PayPal or another third-party service.

Acceptable use

Do not use SecuredMe to harm people or systems.

01
Authorized access onlyNo intrusion, credential abuse, malware, evasion, destructive testing, or attempts to bypass rate limits, roles, consent, or security controls.
02
Lawful and respectful contentNo illegal material, threats, exploitation, impersonation, harassment, intellectual-property abuse, or content that endangers a student or another person.
03
No deceptive automationDo not present experimental output as verified truth, professional advice, a human decision, or a credential. Do not use the service to profile or punish a learner without an authorized human process.
04
No secret or sensitive uploadsDo not submit passwords, private keys, payment credentials, government ID, medical records, or real student records to a public pre-alpha surface.

Students and schools

A public demo is not a school deployment.

Users must follow applicable age, consent, school, and parental-authority requirements. Real student use requires an explicitly activated organization, role-based access, appropriate consent, and a documented safeguard process. Teachers, administrators, guardians, and students must not use public pre-alpha routes to bypass those controls.

Content and rights

Keep ownership; grant only what the feature needs.

You remain responsible for material you submit and must have the right to use it. When an enabled feature stores or publishes material, you grant SecuredMe the limited permission needed to host, process, secure, and display it according to your chosen visibility. Public repositories and publications retain their stated licences. SecuredMe names, marks, site design, and original materials remain protected except where a separate licence says otherwise.

Payments, support, refunds

Payment follows a defined reason.

Independent support

A support payment is voluntary, is not a charitable donation, and does not generate a tax receipt, ownership interest, guaranteed feature, or client engagement.

Diagnostic

The $300 CAD diagnostic is purchased only after the request is confirmed. Its scope is the written problem map and next-step sequence described on the payment page, not implementation of an entire project.

Projects

Larger work begins only under a written scope, schedule, price, and approval path. A payment alone cannot create obligations that are not in the written agreement.

Refunds and disputes

Contact SecuredMe promptly. Refunds follow the written scope, the delivery already performed, applicable consumer rights, and the payment provider's dispute process. Nothing here removes a non-waivable legal right.

Availability and suspension

Safety can require a pause.

SecuredMe may limit or suspend access to protect users, students, infrastructure, legal obligations, or an investigation. We may discontinue a pre-alpha feature. When practical and safe, we will provide notice and a reasonable export or transition path for user-controlled material.

Responsibility

Use experimental systems with appropriate review.

You are responsible for reviewing outputs and for decisions made from them. To the extent permitted by law, SecuredMe provides pre-alpha services as available and does not guarantee that experimental output is complete, accurate, uninterrupted, or suitable for a high-stakes decision. Applicable Quebec and Canadian law, including non-waivable consumer protections, continues to apply.

Changes and contact

Material changes will be visible.

Updated terms will be posted with a revised effective date. If a change requires new consent, the affected feature will request it before the new use begins. Questions, refund requests, or reports of abuse may be sent to contact@securedme.ca. Do not include passwords, payment credentials, government ID, or student records in ordinary email.
